Business Solutions Advisor (Insurance Industry)

Key responsibilities:

• Engage with high-value clients, investors, and business partners to deliver tailored risk and insurance solutions.
• Present product offerings and business solutions confidently through professional and compelling presentations.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to drive growth.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop innovative, process-driven solutions.
• Manage challenging client relationships with diplomacy, patience, and professionalism
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve client service delivery.
• Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of administrative and operational functions.
• Stay adaptable to industry changes and client expectations, adjusting strategies accordingly.
• Participate in ongoing training on specialised products including cyber insurance, business rescue solutions, and medical malpractice claims.

Qualifications and required skills
Minimum requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric (NQF4 or equivalent)
• RE5 Certificate (Regulatory Examination for Representatives)
• FAIS-compliant and fit & proper as per FSCA standards

Experience:

• 5-10 years’ experience in an insurance advisory role.
• Exposure to high-net-worth and/or commercial client portfolios is advantageous.
• Background or interest in cyber insurance, business rescue, and/or medical malpractice insurance is a bonus.
• Clear criminal and credit record.
