Old Khaki appoints Brewster

Marcus Brewster Publicity has been appointed to handle media liaison around the roll-out this month of new clothing stores, Old Khaki.

The first fashion label born out of the Cape Union Mart retail infrastructure, Old Khaki is described as 'urban armour' for young adults aged between 25 and 35 who want to express their style with a range of authentic, quality leisure clothing garments, accessories and footwear.

Starting with two Western Cape stores at Willowbridge and Paarl Centre, the Old Khaki shops combine century old Oregon flooring together with fatigued and distressed fixtures and fittings to create a textured and authentic look that lends itself to the old industrial New York era.

The Old Khaki account will be run out of Brewster's Cape head office under Senior Associate Janine Greeff.

Marcus Brewster Publicity's other fashion clients include Louis Vuitton, donna claire, U.R.US, YDE, Mix Clothing and the FHM Menswear and Foschini Annual Design Awards. Brewster won a PRISM Award for Best Consumer Marketing earlier this year for the Vuitton store launch campaign.
