Job description
African Independent Brokers, based in our Springs offices in Gauteng Province, have an opening for a Trainee People Specialist to work on-site at our offices in Springs. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager: HR.If you are currently based in Gauteng or willing to work from our Springs office, please ensure that you meet the criteria listed below:

Purpose of the role:
Provide support to the HR Department across key areas including administration, on-boarding, recruitment, employee engagement, and retention.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Minimum of Matric
- Human Resources- relevant HR Diploma/BCom degree is mandatory
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an HR environment
- Good communication skills
- In line with the company Employment Equity Plan, preference will be given to EE candidates.
Key Responsibilities – Trainee People Specialist
- Provide administrative support to the HR Department
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Support employee queries and general HR administration
- Assist with HR reporting and data capturing
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Assist with HR compliance and filing systems
- Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Working knowledge of HR systems and HR administration
- Experience with Direct Hire and Pay Space will be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
