Lecture and assess contact learning and distance learning students in the Advanced Diploma (Technical and Vocational Teaching) programme(s) the following modules:
o Reflections on the vocational context
o WIL - Teaching practice
o Psychology of Educational in a Vocational Context
Perform the role and responsibilities of the module coordinator (MC).
Compile teaching, learning, and assessment materials.
Use a learning management system independently and/or work collaboratively to develop and deliver modules.
Participate in relevant programme, curriculum, and material development.
Carry out allocated internal moderation responsibilities.
o Designing a signature pedagogy in a vocational context
o WIL - Workplace-based learning
o Teaching in a vocational field - defining a vocational pedagogy
Carry out invigilation of venue-based assessments as reasonably required by the Registrar’s Office.
Participate in school-based Teaching Practice assessments.
Provide academic support to students.
Complete all Quality Assurance requirements related to the modules and programmes.
Participate in research and community engagement projects.
Ensure prompt and effective communication with students, colleagues, line managers, and other members of management.
Ensure administrative efficiency, effectiveness and compliance with all policies and SOPs.
Participate in and attend meetings and workshops.
Fulfil functions on relevant committees, and in meetings and workshops as reasonably requested by management.
Fulfil all reasonably expected administrative functions relating to the position and as requested by the relevant line manager.

Minimum requirements/qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor of Education Honours or equivalent qualification with relevant study in education, pedagogy and teaching practice
At least three years teaching and/or lecturing experience in the vocational sector in the relevant phases and disciplines.
Experience in curriculum and materials development.
Experience in online and blended teaching and learning environments.
