Nicole Kidman sets new earnings record for Chanel ad

Actress Nicole Kidman is being paid £2 million for a four-minute long Chanel No.5 advertisement which was shot in the streets of Sydney, Australia, during December. Equating to £500 000 per minute, it is believed to be the most lucrative package ever offered to an actor for advertising work. The advert was directed by Baz Luhrmann, who directed Kidman in the musical Moulin Rouge.
