The pavilion structure of the Your Life in Digital Expo has been designed to reflect the consumer's digital reality in the most logical and consumable manner possible. The result is the My Digital Home focal area and five different pavilions for exhibitors to choose from:
The My Digital Home focal area is intended to be one of the biggest attractions for consumers at the show. This fully-equipped, walk-through digital home with its broadband connectivity will reportedly be the first of its kind to be created for a South African show, and will display integrated digital lifestyle technologies that extend from the outdoor recreational area to the kitchen, lounge and entertainment theatre, home office/study and children's rooms, to the main bedroom.
The TV & Entertainment pavilion will showcase products and technologies specialising in entertainment, from plasma TVs and home theatres in the lounge, to streaming media solutions throughout the home, console gaming, universal remote controls and more.
The Mobile & Personal Technology pavilion will feature technologies you can slip in your pocket or take on the road. Cellphones and cameras meet in-car entertainment and GPS, and gadgets for outdoor enthusiasts. And not just for adults: hi-tech toys for kids are also a key aspect of this pavilion.
The Technology at Work pavilion highlights products which focus on home working, productivity and networking. Everything for the home office, and technologies that extend the reach of technology through the home.
The Appliances & Home Automation pavilion features products and technologies from many different parts of the home. Including security, lighting, kitchen appliances and more, this will showcase the state-of-the-art in-home automation and smart appliances.
The Digital Services pavilion will feature the best online services available to South African users, showcasing the latest and greatest in web technology, social networking, online shopping and more.
Vsitors will not only be able to see, touch and experience, but also to buy products in the Digital Retail Store.
