Jimmy Manyi speaks to the Press Club

Jimmy Manyi, head of the government communication service, GCIS, president of the Black Management Forum and previous director general of the labour department will speak on Tuesday, 3 May 2011, to the Cape Town Press Club - in collaboration with the parliamentary press gallery association - on "transformation"

Manyi has held a number of senior posts in business before entering government service. He has also been in charge of the employment equity commission. He was recently involved in a public clash with former Finance Minister Trevor Manuel over what he had described as an over-concentration of coloureds in the Western Cape.

He will speak for 10 minutes over tea and will take questions.
