Cleese plays two characters in the new adverts; a slightly evil alter ego that has stolen Christmas and Santa Cleese, essentially representing Christmas. The idea behind the campaign is that Christmas was stolen for the site, because with its large product range at great prices, online shopping feels like Christmas everyday.

This new campaign was designed to communicate the range of products that are available at competitive prices.
