Okuhle women secure the children on SABC 3

The affirming winds of change are blowing with the award of two hotly contested SABC 3 Children's TV productions to Cape Town-based, all-female Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) organization, Okuhle Media. Okuhle pitched for 3 coveted SABC youth programmes, and secured 2 of these contracts. The two shows, "Which Way" and "What's Your Flava?" are programmes that reflect the Okuhle ethos that entertainment in the kids and youth market needs to include a positive, value-added educational take-away for both children and their care-givers.

"Which Way" is an action packed journey across South Africa undertaken by four adventurous teen presenters. The series is a non stop journey of discovering and experiencing the diverse people, places and relationships that form our nation.

In "What's Your Flava?", young, identical twins experience the ups and downs of life as budding TV presenter chefs as they cook up South African kids' favourite recipes. Kids from all over the country have sent in their recipes for desserts and snacks, salads and lunchbox treats.

"What's your flava?" will launch on Tuesday 21st March at 3pm on SABC 3 and "Which Way" will launch on the same channel on Thursday 23rd March at 3pm.
