About the role
The GVI Group is seeking an experienced paid media and performance marketer to lead the next stage of paid media growth. With a strong focus on Google search ads, we need an expert to optimise these campaigns and drive growth through paid social and other new channels.
The objective of this role is to significantly increase bookings from paid channels by building and delivering a scalable customer acquisition strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Complete ownership: Manage all current and new paid campaigns from strategy to execution across Google, Meta, TikTok and Bing for the GVI, Bushwise, Outsourcery, and GVI Foundation brands.
- Continuous optimisation: Optimise account structures, campaigns, keywords, CPC, CTR, CPL, and other metrics to enhance performance.
- Aggressive growth: Identify, test, and scale new platforms or opportunities to expand reach and reduce cost-per-acquisition.
- Reporting excellence: Produce clear, timely, and accurate reports on ROI, campaign performance and conversions using Google Sheets, Excel and LookerStudio.
- Performance analysis: Adopt a continual test-and-learn approach to understand and enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Budget management: Allocate and optimise digital marketing budgets to ensure maximum ROI.
- Tracking and attribution: Ensure seamless tracking between paid platforms and Salesforce while adhering to privacy standards like GDPR and CCPA.
- SEO: Oversee external SEO freelancers for implementation and strategy.
- Creative collaboration: Work with creative and communications teams to produce engaging, industry-leading assets.
- Team collaboration: Collaborate across operations, development, analytical, creative and outreach teams to drive efficiency and scalability.
- Finger on the pulse: Stay updated on digital marketing trends, new channels, and strategies to maintain competitive advantage.

Who we’re looking for
- Experience: Proven track record in performance marketing or paid media, managing annual budgets exceeding £1 million.
- Strategic mindset: Ability to build and manage performance marketing engines, including tracking, attribution, and optimisation.
- Commercial growth focus: A results-driven mindset focused on CTR, conversion rates, CPL, and CPA.
- Structured approach: Proven processes for managing large paid media accounts.
- Strong communicator: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work with international teams.
- Proactive learner: Quick to learn about GVI products and the marketplace for continuous improvement.
- Analytical thinker: Skilled in data analysis, with experience presenting insights to stakeholders.
Required skills
- Over eight years of paid media experience
- Five or more years in a marketing agency
- Three or more years managing campaigns on Meta
- One to two years managing TikTok campaigns
- Google Ads certified (current)
- Google Analytics certified (current)
- Proficiency with Google Tag Manager, GA4, Salesforce and Excel
- Basic experience with Bing advertising
Ideal skills
- Meta Blueprint certification
- HubSpot knowledge
- Experience with LookerStudio
- Familiarity with project management tools like Trello or Monday.com
- Experience managing B2C campaigns targeting Gen Z or within the travel sector
- Team management experience (one to two years)
- Personal travel experience
