Qualifications and Skills
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
- Grade 12.
- Literate – must be able to speak, and write English
- 10 years, practical experience in industrial,
- engineering, Millwright. Maintenance & electrical.
- Formal Millwright Qualification/s or formal Electrical Qualification.
- Ability to read, analyses, and interpret general business professional publications, technical procedures, manual, or statutory regulations.
- Adaptability to different working areas and conditions.
- Must be willing to work shifts.
- Must have own accommodation & transport.
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure the smooth integration of technical solutions within a project, typically acting as a bridge between technical teams, management, and clients.
- Identify possible unforeseen circumstances and plan alternative action in advance.
- Managing the layout and placement of equipment and machinery in factory settings to ensure minimum downtime.
- Using machinery or equipment, such as forklifts, to move mechanical parts.
- Ensure that the stations & systems are operating and ready for service, on time.
- Check quality of hygiene standards on site.
- Ensure that the following Health, Safety and Hygiene Processes and Procedures are Managed accordingly.
- Ensure correct procedures on installations/amendments/breakdown are followed.
