TDMC is seeking a dedicated and experienced paid social media account manager to join our dynamic team. This client-facing role requires a proactive individual who thrives in an open-plan office environment and is adept at managing multiple social media accounts for our clients. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in paid social media management, with a strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools. The ideal candidate will have experience in buying for performance. This is an onsite role.

Key responsibilities:

• Client management: drive and maintain strong relationships with clients. Understand and align with their business targets and goals.
• Campaign planning and execution: develop, implement, and optimise social media campaigns across various platforms. Ensure all campaigns align with client's performance objectives and are executed within deadlines.
• Performance monitoring: regularly track and analyse the performance of social media campaigns. Provide clients with updates on performance metrics and suggest improvements.
• Internal collaboration: work closely with account directors, and other internal teams to deliver effective client service and support business development.
• Communication: maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and internal teams. Handle client queries and issues promptly.
• Documentation: manage and organise client documents, reports, and creative assets. Ensure all campaign details are accurately documented and saved in the appropriate client drive.
• Training and development: stay updated with the latest social media trends and platform updates. Pursue continuous learning through webinars and training sessions. You will be required to maintain your social media platform accreditations. A current meta certification would be an advantage.
• Location: based in Cape Town
• Experience: proven experience in social media account management or a related digital marketing role.

Required:

• Ad buying: bought paid media ads before (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn)
• Digital media skills: strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and campaign management.
• Communication skills: excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Teamwork: ability to work effectively in a team and open-plan office environment.
• Client-facing skills: comfortable and experienced in dealing directly with clients.
• Certifications: meta blueprint certifications are advantageous
