As part of the Nelson Mandela Month, the Deputy Minister of Communication, Mr Obed Bapela MP will be distributing the blankets and food parcels to the stranded shack dwellers of Alexandra Township. The residents and families of the shacks in 8th and 9th Avenues in Vincent Road suffered a major loss through the fire that broke out and burnt down a majority of the dwellings.
