e'Lollipop I, the great South African classic film made during the apartheid years about two young boys and a friendship across colour lines, will finally be released on both DVD and VHS today (June 24) and all sales will help to raise funds for orphan charities.

e'Lollipop was seen in over 40 countries worldwide and was screened at the 2004 Cannes International Film Festival.

During its first airing on MNet in March it created a 26% viewership compared to the average of 12% for a general Sunday movie - representing 162 000 viewers..

e'Lollipop has established a unique channel of distribution by partnering with Mr. Delivery, so that the public may order and have their DVD delivered directly to their door.
