Clover is the cream of latest PMR survey

Clover has emerged as a leading FMCG company in this year's survey conducted by Professional Management Review (PMR). The research covered a number of attributes such as product quality, trade relations, product availability and delivery, integrity, consumer trust of brand name and consumer marketing.

Ratings were allocated from 1 - 5 (poor to outstanding) and in the Perishables Category: Fresh Dairy, Clover emerged with 4.29, with nearest competitors being Dewfresh (Pty) Ltd, Tiger Brands Ltd Dairy and Parmalat South Africa (Pty) Ltd in the same order.

Clover also took first place in the following other categories: Consistent good quality products; Competitive pricing/allowing good margins; Known value items; Integrity and consumer trust of brand name.

The respondents ranged from senior buyers to wholesale chains or groups at national and regional buying level, who deal directly with FMCG manufacturers. They were asked to rate the companies that they personally deal with across a range of 16 service/product and manufacturing practice attributes. Included were questions about branding, new product launches and product advertising.

The annual PMR surveys are highly regarded for benchmarking business, government, professions, education and labour. These surveys determine customer satisfaction, as well as peer ratings.
