Jazz festival fundraiser for Grace Place

A fundraiser for Grace Place, a preschool in Pinetown, will be held each evening on 7 and 8 September 2012 at His Church in Drake Rd. The supper theatre show, called 'All that Jazz', features Neil Goncalves, who played with Johnny Clegg for five years, Cathy Peacock, Shelley McLean and the legendry Dave Guiselli.

"The preschool desperately needs a computer room and a new Grade 0 classroom," says project coordinator Michael Milne who, with a team of volunteers from the church, is staging the event.

The preschool has no government subsidy and thus rely heavily on fundraising to equip the school with quality equipment and resources.

Tickets for the show are R150 a head, or R1500 for a table (10) and patrons may bring their own food hampers and drinks, although a limited selection will be available at the bar. The organisers will have babysitting facilities at a cost of R50 per child, housed in the hall adjacent to the theatre venue.
