FEMINA sinks a 'hole in one'

Femina will be the official lifestyle magazine partner for the second Women's World Cup of Golf (WWCG) at Sun City from 20 to 22 January 2006 and plans to celebrate the occasion with a special golf and lifestyle magazine, bagged with the February 2006 issue.

The WWCG magazine will feature golf-related articles, expert advice from the players, exclusive interviews and inspiring features for every woman who plays golf or may be thinking of taking up the game.

According to Julia Raphaely, Business Director of publisher Associated Magazines, Femina has always taken a keen interest in golf. "The WWCG gives us a unique opportunity to produce a women's golf magazine unlike any we have seen in South Africa."

The WWCG magazine will include the programme, course layout and welcome notes from the organisers.

"We will produce a magazine that female golfers will enjoy to read and visitors to the tournament will find relevant to the event. Sections will include beauty, fashion and golf-related features, such as the latest on golf estate living and the best gifts to give a golfer," said editor Robynne Kahn. "Readers will also learn how to improve their game, and how to use the game of golf to their advantage in the business world."
