New category, international jury for Pentawards 2012

The packaging design awards competition, Pentawards 2012, has announced it has opened up a new category, packaging concepts created since 1 January 2011 anywhere in the world, with a separate registration period from 6 February to 2 March 2012. The Pentawards Classic will be open for online registration from 2 April to 11 May 2012, also for packaging, or line of packaging, created or placed on the market since 1 January 2011, anywhere in the world. The awards will be presented in Paris.

Jury

It has selected its international jury of marketing specialists and designers from Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific. Gerard Caron, founder of Carre Noir (France) and publisher of the site www.admirabledesign.com will chair the jury.
