Now the group has announced on Friday 23 April that it will allocate in excess of 7500 tickets to employees across the country in a bid to ensure that they feel, and are part of, the 2010 World Cup excitement gripping the host nation.
The group's MD Karel Pienaar said, by allocating tickets to its employees, it is truly giving its people the right to proudly say: “I was there” long after the final whistle has blown. The tickets are spread across several soccer matches at all 10 match venues around the country, including Soccer City. “It is only fitting that we personally include every one of our personnel in what is the most exciting event to ever happen in South Africa,” he said.
