The two new board members are Wesgro COO, Howard Gabriels and Shell Upstream CX manager, Niall Kramer. Kramer is a member of the Business and Arts South Africa (BASA) Mentorship Programme and advises Iziko Museums on brand development, brand engagement and marketing and communications strategy.
The CCDI is one of the provincial government's leading special purpose vehicles and has won numerous accolades for its work since it was set up in 2002. Its mission is to be a best practice institute that develops people to build profitable enterprises with marketable products for global markets in an enabled environment.
"We would not have been as effective without the excellent advice from the board members who have given unstintingly of their time and knowledge over the years," said CCDI executive director and board member Erica Elk. "It is a great asset to have such expertise readily available, on subjects ranging from marketing to cash flow management. We are delighted to welcome the new members and look forward to the next phase of CCDI development with their support and experience."
