Fortune names Publicis as one of the world's '10 Great Companies to Work For'

The world's fourth largest advertising agency network, Publicis, has been voted as one of 2005's '10 Great European Companies To Work For' by Fortune magazine.

The Publicis Groupe employs 35 000 people in 109 countries and has an annual turnover in excess of $5 billion. South African media agency, Starcom, and creative agencies Saatchi & Saatchi, Lobedu Leo Burnett, Publicis South Africa and Red Nail are part of the Groupe's flourishing universal network.

One of many reasons the illustrious Groupe acquired this coup is that despite the mother agency's Parisian outlook, affiliate companies are encouraged to preserve their individual cultures. 'The fact that we developed from a small French agency that has protected our culture from all the tides in the world, has deepened our understanding of why the cultures of the companies acquired by Publicis globally have to be protected,' says Maurice Lévy, Group Chairman of the Publicis Groupe.
