September proved to be a busy month for VWV's Events division with the staging of several major functions. Events worth a mention include those for listed companies, ABI and Southern Sun, where VWV was required to creatively apply its skills, in order to transform a standard dinner and a conference, into experiential occasions not easily to be forgotten.
ABI Supplier Banquet: VWV staged a banquet at the Michelangelo Hotel for ABI's top suppliers. This sophisticated evening, a combination of wine and song, was packed with entertainment and the line up included a swing band, a performance by violinist Lizzy Rennie and a duet performed by local artists, Timothy Moloi and Angela Kilian.
Southern Sun Conference: VWV staged the group's annual general manager conference in Cape Town at the ICC. VWV's interpretation of this year's "Dreams and Memories" theme was truly memorable; and lighting, sound and emotive touches, were successfully combined to impress this 80-strong audience. The conference was also the platform used to launch the five-screen corporate video produced by VWV for the Tsogo Sun Group.
