Junior Patroller

• Minimum Grade 12 certificate.
• Fire Fighter 1.
• First Aid level 3 OR registered Basic Ambulance Assistant qualification with HPCSA – valid membership card
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent customer relation skills.
• Good listening skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Must be in possession of a valid Code 10/C1 unendorsed driver’s license & PRDP for minimum 2 years.
• Able to work shifts.
• Certificate of medical fitness.

• Patrolling designated section of N3 Route.
• Assisting road users in case of breakdowns with petrol, water and changing tyres etc.
• Responding to incidents and providing first aid where necessary.
• Performing scene safety and a pre-warning to secure accident/incidents.
• Extinguish grass and vehicle fires where required.
• Removal of objects which may threaten the safety of road users
• Maintain cleanliness and care of vehicle/s, tools and all equipment.
• Record and report all damages, shortages and incidents to Specialist Incident Manager.
