Are you a fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans) sports journalist with a passion for broadcasting?
Do you have a strong voice, sharp news sense, and the ability to bring sporting moments to life for audiences?
Newskoop is looking for a talented sports journalist to join our dynamic broadcast team!
What we're looking for:
- A confident on-air presence with excellent storytelling skills
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written)
- Strong knowledge of local and international sports
- Ability to conduct insightful interviews with players, coaches, and analysts
- Skilled in writing scripts, editing audio, and delivering compelling sports content
- A remote position – the successful candidate must have their own recording equipment
Your role will include:
- Compiling content on major sporting events
- Conducting interviews with sports personalities
- Providing expert analysis and commentary
- Creating engaging radio content
