Job description

Stone is growing the Stone team at our Illovo, Sandton head offices.

We are looking for a media liaison consultant who can learn and grow through their contributions.

We are looking for someone:

• With a great work ethic, regardless of the entrusted task
• Who wants to be part of a small but skilled team
• Who pays meticulous attention to detail in their writing and project management
• Who can deliver under pressure
• Who can grow relationships with B2B media
• Who has B2B social media implementation management experience
• Who has recently graduated with an appropriate tertiary qualification
• Who is Johannesburg-based and has a valid driver's licence
• Availability by the beginning of June will be an advantage

• Confident liaison with journalists, media houses and event companies
• Crafting of media pitches and releases
• Media liaison with a strong focus on B2B media
• B2B social media management
• Media database management
• Campaign distribution using the latest media tools, like Prezly, amongst others
• Media campaign project management and exposure results reporting
• Strategy preparation, project assistance and desk research
