A retail marketer is a professional responsible for planning and executing marketing strategies specific to a retail environment, aiming to drive sales, enhance visibility and engage customers effectively. The core function of retailing is to sell the products or service to the end user. Retail marketing involves various activities, which include advertising the products assortment.
Duties and responsibilities
- Develop and executive comprehensive retail marketing strategies to drive sales
- Conduct market research to understand consumer behavior and marketing trends
- Create product displays to attract customers
- Obtain information about a company target
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to create compelling promotions and campaigns
