Java Cloud Feature Architect

We are seeking a feature architect with extensive experience in AWS Cloud, including application migration, deployment, and development. The role also requires knowledge of other cloud platforms such as Azure and OpenShift. You will be responsible for investigating user requirements, proposing and reviewing system designs, and evaluating alternatives.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in a business or IT environment
• Minimum of seven years' experience as a Technical Solutions Architect in Java environments
• Expertise in AWS Cloud (migration, deployment, and development), with additional knowledge of Azure and OpenShift
• Proficiency in Java 7 & 8+, functional Java, and both backend and frontend development
• Experience with REST services, RESTful APIs, Java Logging Frameworks, and Java Persistence Framework
• Knowledge of JAX-RS (Jersey RESTful Web Services Framework), JMS/JMS 2, JEE 7, and CI/CD
• Familiarity with JSON and XML with Schema, HTTP Authentication, and Encryption with SSL
• Experience with SQL, DB2, PostgreSQL, Oracle, EJB2/3, CLI
• Knowledge of Apache and WebLogic 12.1.3 Server
• Proficiency in Git with Bitbucket, code versioning (Git/SVN), and Jenkins with build pipelines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interpret business needs and move concepts from proposal to successful implementation
