Mid Weight Journalist

• Manage, build and publish website content.
• Oversee and manage daily online editorial operations.
• Write lead stories for the daily publication.
• Develop and implement editorial strategy to expand our reader base.
• Engage with our readership to ensure that we're serving their needs.
• Collaborate with writers, reporters and other staff to maintain the high standard of our publication.
• Conduct interviews with potential celebrities / personalities
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure content accuracy, legal compliance and brand guidelines adherence.
• Ensure brand guidelines around content management, style and appearance are adhered to.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to improve the overall user experience by implementing content placement and layout improvements.
• Monitor user engagement metrics and user feedback to identify opportunities for content optimisation and enhancement.
• Optimise content for search engines and adhere to SEO best practices to help improve visibility and organic traffic.
• Conduct QA and testing of new features together with quality checking of website product content.
• Provide day-to-day support to troubleshoot and help resolve site issues.

• University or college degree preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a superior command of the English language
• We are looking for a minimum two years’ work experience in a marketing, web content, design or e-commerce related role. The successful candidate will receive full training across our tools, processes and platforms but the following experience, while not essential would be advantageous.

• Basic understanding of SEO.
• QA processes.
• Familiarity with A/B testing techniques and interpreting data.
• UX and design experience.
• Strong PC skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and task management tools.
