Job description

We are a growing media and dubbing company specialising in delivering high-quality productions for diverse audiences. Our projects include TV shows, films, and animation, with a strong focus on linguistic accuracy, cultural authenticity, and world-class sound engineering.We are looking for experienced professionals and voice talent to join our dubbing projects. The roles will support end-to-end dubbing and subtitling workflows for TV and film productions. Candidates must have proficiency in Nguni languages (particularly IsiZulu) and demonstrate cultural and linguistic sensitivity.Available Roles:

• Dubbing Experts / Directors – Oversee and guide dubbing sessions, ensuring lip-sync, tone, and quality.
• Translators – Translate and adapt scripts from source language into IsiZulu, ensuring cultural relevance.
• Language Advisors – Provide cultural and linguistic guidance to ensure authentic delivery.
• Sound Engineers – Manage recording, mixing (2.0 / 5.1), and technical quality control.
• Subtitlers – Create accurate and well-timed subtitles.
• Voice Cast (Actors) – Native Nguni language speakers (preferably IsiZulu) to voice characters with precision and emotion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate and adapt scripts to match lip-sync and cultural context.
• Record and direct dubbing sessions with accuracy and creativity.
• Ensure high-quality sound engineering and technical standards.
• Provide feedback on linguistic accuracy, tone, and performance.
• Deliver subtitling in alignment with project timelines.
• Collaborate with project managers, directors, and other team members to meet deadlines

Requirements

• Proficiency in Nguni languages (IsiZulu required, other Nguni languages an advantage).
• Previous experience in dubbing, translation, sound engineering, subtitling, or voice acting mandatory.
• Strong linguistic and cultural knowledge.
• Technical expertise (for sound engineers and subtitlers).
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Collaborative spirit and professionalism.
