Software Tester

This is a serious testing environment within a high-performance financial platform, and they’re looking for a Software Tester who can think beyond test cases and understand the data, logic, and financial impact behind what they’re testing.

What’s non-negotiable

• University degree (and you performed well)
• Strong analytical ability (maths, logic, problem solving)
• Experience in a formal testing environment
  
• Solid experience in manual and/or automated testing

And critically:

• Hands-on experience in the investment / financial domain, such as:

• Asset / fund management platforms
• Trading or order management systems
• Portfolio accounting & performance calculations
• Pricing, valuations, or financial instruments

No exposure to this? This won’t land.

What you’ll actually be doing

• Deep manual testing (not surface-level clicking)
• Validating financial data, calculations, and outputs
• Reviewing automated test coverage (±19,000 tests running in CI)
• Ensuring developers have properly covered logic in automation
• Identifying where financial logic can break — before it does
