We are now seeking an social media specialist to join our team.

About the role

As a social media specialist in our team of social experts, you will be apart of building one of the streaming service brands in the world.

Key responsibilities

1. Content Creation
   You’ll be required to plan, create and schedule posts for our social platforms.
   
   
2. Watching Content
   - Once a week you will be required to watch and bank content for scheduling.
   
   
3. Reporting
   - For launches you will be required to report on the launch performance of each of our campaigns in collaboration with our publicity teams.
   
   - Every week you will be required to report on the weekly performance. We sometimes scour the web to gather sentiment on what our audiences want to see on a particular title or subject matter.
4. Community Management
   - Looking after the communities across our social platforms.
   - Responding to queries.
   
   
5. Campaigns
   - You will be required to work on strategies as well as execute those strategies for all our campaigns.
   
   
6. Social Listening
   We always have to have our ears on the ground in terms of our audiences and what they want to see across our social platforms.
   
   
7. Editorial
   You will be required to work on monthly strategies for the upkeep of our platforms.

Candidate requirements

• Relevant experience in a creative agency, post-production house, or social media agency.
• Proven track record of producing high-quality creative content.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and deliver on client demands.
• Strong understanding of technical details and formats for advertising, social media, production, and design content.

Soft skills

• Resilience - positivity is key.
• Interpersonal Skill - work well in a big team.
• Independence - ability to create and execute independently.

Hard skills

• Excellent skill with excel spreadsheets.
• Excellent use of social working tools ie: - slack, google suite, all social media platforms.

Bonus

• If you have worked for a TV channel or streaming service. 
• If you can design and edit
