About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative DTP email designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital design and direct marketing, with a particular focus on email layout, formatting, and execution. This role blends DTP (Desktop Publishing) precision with email marketing best practices to deliver visually appealing, responsive, and high-performing email content.
Key responsibilities
- Design and format email campaigns in line with brand guidelines and marketing objectives. Platforms include HTML as well as drag and drop email platforms.
- Translate concepts and copy into well-structured, visually engaging email layouts
- Prepare, proof, and test email designs across devices and email clients (e.g., Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail)
- Manage and optimise image assets, including resizing and compression
- Assist in the design of supporting digital materials (e.g., banners, social media graphics, landing pages)
- Proven experience as a DTP designer with a strong portfolio of email and digital design work
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Basic to intermediate HTML/CSS knowledge specific to email design
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp and Everlytics)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Understanding of email design best practices, including mobile responsiveness and accessibility
- Experience working in ecommerce environments
- Knowledge of marketing automation and data-driven design
- Collaborative, creative work environment
- Very Flexible working arrangements
- Exposure to a wide range of projects and clients
- Proven experience as a DTP designer with a strong portfolio of email and digital design work
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
