We are seeking a skilled and experienced vehicle auto electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in a variety of vehicles.

This role requires a strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, the ability to diagnose and solve complex problems, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Key responsibilities:

• Diagnose electrical issues in vehicles using diagnostic tools and software.
• Install, repair, and maintain vehicle electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, battery systems, and electronic control units (ECUs).
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Interpret electrical wiring diagrams and technical manuals to accurately perform repairs and installations.
• Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to diagnose and repair vehicle issues.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
• Keep detailed records of all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive electrical technology and repair techniques.
• Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs and costs to clients as necessary.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Auto Electrician.
• Must have completed your trade test (Auto Electrician Red Seal). 
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and components.
• Must have a mechanical background.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Certification or diploma in automotive electrical systems or related field is preferred.
• Valid drivers licence.
