Financial Accountant

• Minimum 5 years experience as an accountant
• SAIPA accredited (advantageous) 
• Computer literate on Pastel; Acc Fin; Draftworx and MS Office
• In-office position

• Financial Reporting: Preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Bookkeeping: Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing variances, and providing recommendations.
• Tax Compliance: Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, preparing and filing tax returns, and managing tax-related queries and audits.
• Audit Preparation: Coordinating with external auditors during audits, providing necessary documentation, and addressing any audit findings or recommendations.
• Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysis to support decision-making, identifying trends, and providing insights into financial performance.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Client and Stakeholder Communication: Interacting with clients, stakeholders, and other departments to address financial issues and provide financial guidance.
• Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for improving financial processes and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Financial Systems Management: Utilizing accounting software and financial systems to manage financial data and streamline processes.
