Commercial Vehicle Technician

Responsibilities:

• Fault-finding and diagnosis on tractors/trucks by interpreting product underperformance or failure.
• Follow workshop manuals to ensure work meets acceptable standards.
• Adhere to repair and maintenance instructions and specifications.
• Deliver excellent customer service by following procedures and processes.
• Provide comprehensive and accurate reports on diagnosis, assessments, failures, observations, actions, and recommendations.

Requirements:

• Practical and mechanically oriented.
• Trade test certificate as a qualified diesel mechanic.
• At least three years of experience.
• Ability to comply with OEM standards.
• Logical and clear thinking.
• Self-disciplined.
• Psychologically and medically fit.
• Good vision and ability to identify different colours.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Safety-conscious to prevent accidents.
• Strong business sense and good judgment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Salary:

• Negotiable basic salary (depending on experience) + incentives + medical aid and pension.
