Job description

Key purpose of the role

The Facilities Support Coordinator (CT) provides logistical support and assists with facility maintenance, as well as administrative tasks such as ordering stationery and consumables. The role also includes supporting the setup of internal events to ensure smooth workplace operations. Responsibilities further extend to driving for collections, pickups, drop-offs, and deliveries, including operating the OB van for outside broadcasts and activations.

Key performance areas

Logistics and deliveries:
  • Ensure timely completion of pickups and deliveries to support operational efficiency and meet required deadlines.
Vehicle maintenance and compliance:
  • Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of company vehicle by adhering to servicing schedules and compliance requirements.
Building and facilities support:
  • Conduct weekly facility inspections and assist with minor maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and functional environment.
Stock and office supplies management:
  • Monitor and restock office supplies and stationery regularly to prevent shortages and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Event support:
  • Provide logistical support for internal events and promotions, including setup and breakdown, to ensure smooth execution.
Minimum required qualification:
  • Matric or equivalent level of competency
Qualifications considered advantageous:
  • Administration
Minimum years of experience:
  • 2-3 years driving experience in a commercial environment
Additional role requirements:
  • Exposure to administrative work is an advantage
  • Valid drivers licence
  • Valid code 10 drivers licence advantageous
