Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a quality control supervisor or similar role.
• Experience with quality control procedures and standards.
• Ability to manage a team effectively.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Quality management: Manage routine and random inspections, ensuring they align with company standards.
• Manufacturing process approvals: Approve processes following company instructions and procedures.
• Procedure improvements: Enhance the Quality Team's work standards to ensure all tasks and procedures are completed accurately.
• Advanced quality systems: Support the implementation of advanced quality systems within the company.
• Instruction development: Translate orders, contracts, specifications, layouts, and drawings into inspection instructions.
• Issue resolution: Independently resolve operational issues within established parameters.
• Employee supervision: Directly supervise employees, including interviewing, hiring, and training.
• Customer reports: Take primary responsibility for customer corrective and preventive reports and actions.

Desired skills

• Strong understanding of procedures, quality systems, and statistical processes.
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly procedures, particularly in a print environment.
