Your role will be to assist the CEO of a fun, dynamic company, mainly in the marketing and tourism space.
We operate a guest house for digital nomads in Greenpoint, Cape Town, so applicants in this area will be preferred, but this can also be a remote position, and others will be taken into account.
However, only candidates
with a few years of working experience and administration skills will be accepted.
PA responsibilities
CEO- Managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments
- Ensure there are no overlapping appointments in the CEO’s diary and assist with queries
- Report any client, financial, HR, or administrative issues to the CEO.
- Researching personal tasks for the CEO and company and compiling summary documents.
- Check the CEO’s emails and assist with drafting emails (in Google docs and then sharing this in the #admin Slack Channel) when and if needed.
- Booking and arranging travel, transport, and accommodation.
- Typing, compiling, and preparing reports, presentations, contracts, and correspondence.
HR- Advertise vacancies in the company and screen candidates for these positions.
- Keep all employee records up to date and ensure documents are valid.
- Assist team members with administrative queries and issues.
- Assist in acquiring the best talent for various positions throughout the company.
- Help compile and review contracts and legal documents.
- Screening applicants to be interviewed
Company- Compiling and arranging documents to send to the bookkeeper
- Uploading items to Wordpress, Notion and Sheets and Asana.
- Reminding the manager/executive of important tasks and deadlines.
- Managing databases and filing systems.
- Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems.
- Liaising with staff, suppliers, and clients.
- Collating and filing expenses.
