      The Marketing Coordinator plays a vital role in driving Feenix’s brand visibility, digital
      engagement, and community storytelling. The role is ideal for a self-starter with a passion for
      youth empowerment, social justice, and innovation in the nonprofit space.
      You will support and implement marketing strategies that enhance Feenix’s voice as a
      thought leader, trusted partner, and impact-led community. The position requires creativity,
      resourcefulness, and strong collaboration across internal teams and external stakeholders.

      Key responsibilities

      Strategy and planning
      ● Co-develop and execute the annual marketing plan alongside the head of fundraising and communications
      ● Align content and communications with organisational strategy and fundraising objectives.
      ● Maintain a consistent and engaging brand voice across all platforms.

      Social media and digital communications
      ● Implement monthly social media content calendars, including paid and organic campaigns.
      ● Grow social media audience and engagement (with 10–50% growth targets across platforms).
      ● Monitor, report and adapt based on engagement analytics and trends.
      ● Coordinate and manage influencer and ambassador collaborations.

      Content creation and storytelling
      ● Source, write, and curate content that shares student impact stories and donor testimonials.
      ● Develop visual and written collateral aligned to campaigns, reports, and Feenix’s values.
      ● Maintain and organise the Feenix content library (google drive, canva).

      Campaign management
      ● Support fundraising campaigns including Mandela day, youth month, and end-of-year drives.
      ● Collaborate with fundraising and student support teams to ensure integrated messaging.
      ● Coordinate campaign assets such as email templates, social posts, videos, blogs, and reports.

      Marketing administration and coordination
      ● Coordinate marketing briefs for external creatives and internal departments.
      ● Support the development of Feenix’s content-rich, user-friendly website.
      ● Ensure timely execution of marketing deliverables across email, print, and digital platforms.

      PR and external visibility
      ● Identify and pitch story angles to media houses and journalists to boost public profile.
      ● Support the set-up of thought leadership platforms (e.g. webinars, podcasts, blogs).

      Stakeholder engagement
      ● Support donor acquisition and retention through tailored marketing content.
      ● Elevate leadership and partner voices in key communication touchpoints.

      Candidate profile
      Qualifications and experience
      ● Degree or diploma in marketing, communications, or related field.
      ● 2+ years’ experience in a similar marketing or communications coordination role.
      ● Proficiency in tools such as Mailchimp, Canva, Google analytics, social media schedulers (e.g. Sprout Social), and Airtable.
      ● Experience with digital fundraising or NPO marketing is a strong advantage.
      ● Advantageous: Experience with InDesign, Illustrator and/or Photoshop

      ● Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
      ● Strong storytelling and copywriting abilities.
      ● Excellent planning, coordination, and project management skills.
      ● Ability to interpret data and translate it into meaningful insights.
      ● Relationship builder with high emotional intelligence and empathy.
      ● Proactive, accountable, agile and able to thrive in an ever-evolving environment.
      ● Deep interest in youth development, social justice, and nonprofit innovation.
