Travel Tractions and The Marketing Mill are looking for a talented and self-driven mid-level SEO specialist to start in February 2025.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for SEO and the travel industry and at least three years of experience.

As a mid-level SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for optimising website content, researching and analysing keywords, and developing SEO strategies for clients.

You will also collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement successful online marketing campaigns, perform website audits to identify areas for improvement and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with clients to understand their goals and objectives and provide recommendations on how to improve their online presence and drive traffic to their websites.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and website visibility.
• Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis, and implement on-page and off-page optimisation techniques.
• Perform website audits, identify technical SEO issues, and provide solutions for improvement.
• Monitor SEO performance metrics, analyse data, and provide insights and recommendations.
• Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, tools, and algorithm changes.

Requirements

• Degree or certification (at least one year tertiary education), or equivalent work experience in SEO in a related field.
• 3-5 years of SEO experience, preferably in the travel industry.
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and tools.
• Own laptop and a stable wifi connection.
• Creative and innovative mindset.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for travel and tourism.
