We’re all about creating meaningful campaigns and building long-lasting client relationships. We’re looking for an experienced and motivated senior account manager to join our Cape Town team and help us bring big ideas to life. 

About the role 

Please note that this will be a three-month maternity cover - start date of 1 July 2025.  We are ideally looking for someone who has freelanced in this capacity before and who has the ability to pick up and run with projects immediately - without needing a long onboarding period.

The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in leading multiple client accounts, ensuring smooth project execution within time and budget constraints. 

Recommended CIM qualifications 

• CAM diploma in marketing communications 
• Professional diploma in marketing 
• Chartered postgraduate diploma in marketing 

Ideal candidate profile 

• Bachelor’s degree with more than five years of agency experience 
• Proven experience managing high-profile, blue-chip clients 
• Results-driven with a track record of achieving objectives 
• Strong communicator, capable of influencing at senior levels 
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills 
• Commercially astute with expertise in business development and financial oversight 
• Innovative with a creative mindset 
• Proactive and self-motivated 

Key responsibilities 

• Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies tailored to client brands, across channels such as advertising, digital, direct marketing, and sales promotions 
• Build and nurture strong client relationships 
• Manage daily client requests - brief internal teams (creative, strategy, production, etc.) on client needs.
• Admin related tasks including time tracking and briefing within our project management tool (Magnetic)
• Monitor timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
• Respond to client emails, messages, and calls promptly.
• Attend regular client status meetings (in-person or virtual)
• Manage client budgets
