Max Oliva joined the Spar Group 28 years ago as a trainee manager in KZN and he is a passionate and loyal SPAR man. He has worked in several roles across various Spar regions including Perishables Logistics in North Rand, and as Logistics Director at both South Rand and the KZN divisions.

In 2015, Max was seconded to head up Supply Chain for Ireland and Southwest England before returning to South Africa for his most recent role as Managing Director at SparKZN. Max was promoted to CEO of South Africa on 1 August 2022. He has a business commerce degree and an MBA from the University of Wales.
