I have 16 years' experience in digital marketing, with an MBA somewhere along the way. I spent the last 8 years leading the digital strategy for some of South Africa's largest brands, including Toyota, Lexus, Cell C, South African Tourism, Barclays Africa, Absa and Fanta Global.
It's the complexity of managing a digital ecosystem, and the uncertainty of prioritising the next big investment that led me to an analytics-first approach to strategy: using data to prioritise the next investment, as well as empowering teams to improve the performance of current platforms across the board.
