Leanne Emery is the Chief Marketing and Client Officer (CMCO) at the Youth Employment Service (YES), a business-driven NPO that works to tackle youth unemployment in South Africa. Within her role, she is responsible for managing all marketing and client operations.
Before joining YES in June 2020, Leanne held the position of Group Marketing Director for the Inspired Education Group. In this role, she led the design and delivery of integrated performance marketing and brand strategies for a €2.5 billion international organisation that was the second-largest school group in the world.
Leanne has led growth strategies and cross-functional teams in global and local businesses for 16 years, helping teams deliver a superior client journey to meet customer acquisition targets and build successful brands.
She holds a BA Marketing Communications degree from UJ, a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Wits Business School, and a MBA (cum laude) from the Gordon Institute of Business Science.
