Previously, Jon was Head of Agencies for Google South Africa, also leading YouTube sales in Sub Saharan Africa in this role. Jon also worked at Google's head office in SF in the Google X marketing team (That's the moon shot factory where Google Glass and Self Driving cars were birthed.)

In 2015 and 2016 Jon spoke on the main Debussy stage at the Cannes Lions on the intersection of social media, video and brand marketing.
