Janine Lloyd has been in the communications industry for 25 years, having founded and led one of South Africa's top PR agencies, Livewired PR, which she sold three years ago.
In her career Janine has advised over 50 local and global businesses on PR and communications, as well as profiling for CEO's, executives and leaders. She has worked on Corporate, Business, and Consumer Brands and Specialty PR campaigns and brings a wealth of expertise in communications strategy and planning, crises communications, positioning and messaging; reputation management; digital strategies; media relations; stakeholder engagement and internal communications.
Her industry expertise spans ICT, telecommunications, Pharmaceutical, healthcare, NGO, consulting and research, recruitment, entertainment, FMCG, property, travel and hospitality, construction, engineering, motoring and government. Janine was recognized for her achievements by being voted as one of SA's most influential PR people in The Annual 2010.
Janine is known for being an inspiring leader, razor-sharp strategist and skilled professional coach. With an attitude of self-development and dedication to learning that Janine approaches all things in life, she attained Intensive Coach Training and has also completed an Executive Coach Training course through Results Coaching Systems in New York.
She is also a regular conference speaker on communications, Public Relations and leadership.
Her love and passion for communicating, especially where she can impart knowledge and provide guidance, led Janine to become a regular writer and contributor. She has written a chapter for the international PR book published in the UK called International Public Relations, as well as contributed to The Irreverent Mother by Sam Cowen and Lee Van Loggerenberg. Janine also edited and contributed to the cancer survivor book Patient to Patience by Annick von Sammetski and has written numerous published articles in the media.
