The purpose is to create awareness about the positive influence of the SAPS and the knock-on effect it has on the well-being of the community.
Michelle Combrinck, CEO and founder of Zinto, said, “Police officers are committed to making our neighbourhoods safer to live, work and visit. They give so much to us, and we need to give back to them.”
Zinto aims to lead the way and inspire both corporate South Africa and the general public to grow this initiative. “The intention is to restore dignity among the SAPS while enforcing a communal sense of pride and respect towards law enforcement. In doing so we are making a small contribution to the policing community while encouraging others to do the same,” she added.
Colonel M. Sambo of Sandringham Police Station said, “As much as we work for you, you were also able to make time and work for us, which in turn means that we are working together. Please continue doing the wonderful work.”
Colonel R. Griessel of Alexandra Police Station also thanked the Zinto team for their valuable support and for acknowledging the SAPS.
