Paarl Media fire memorial service on Saturday
The Paarl Media Group will be holding a memorial service to celebrate the lives of those lost in the recent fire on Saturday, 9 May 2009, at the Nederburg Estate in Paarl, Western Cape, at 10am. The victims were Gerhard Mans (37) printer; Marcelle Basson (39) planner; Jenelle Pietersen (23) general assistant bindery; Thys de Vries (52) quality controller; Erick Peters (59) printer; Hilton Blanckenberg (52) cutter; Marshall Diedericks, cleaner contracted to Paarl Print; Joseph Johnson, cleaner contracted to Paarl Print; Patricia Stoffels (35) senior assistant; Pieter Saayman (58) bandset operator; and Liezel Jacobs (34) general assistant bindery.
