Crazy Store hands over R126k donation to FOCHA
Over the past year, The Crazy Store has been allocating 10% of the sales on selected collectable Crazy Ducks purchased by customers nationwide for The Friends of the Children's Hospital Association (FOCHA) at the Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital in Cape Town. In honour of former President Nelson Mandela's legacy, the franchise handed over a donation of R126,000 to FOCHA on 18 July 2017.
The Crazy Store entered a partnership with FOCHA in 2014 when it placed specially branded collection tins, that may still be found, in all its stores. The Crazy Store introduced Crazy Duck as its mascot, four years ago, and in 2015 the store added the Collectable Ducks range to assist in raising funds for FOCHA.
FOCHA is a voluntary support group to the Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital that seeks to provide amenities, assistance, and care for the patients and families of the hospital.
