Over R20 million in free ads

The Newspaper Advertising Bureau (NAB) has provided more than R20 million free coverage to non-profit organisations in various Caxton community newspapers over the past six years. In conjunction with various media agencies, NAB places gratis advertisements for the Animal Anti-Cruelty League, Salvation Army, and currently, the Arrive Alive campaign.

“These are all important initiatives and commendable recipients of our support,” says joint MD Gill Randall. “We invite other worthy causes to investigate this far-reaching, effective vehicle.”

NAB has been running the service for more than six years, since the surge of growth in the number of inserts found in community newspapers.

Printed on a million sleeves at a time, with the purpose of containing advertising inserts, the community service advertisements appear in most community newspapers each week.
